Beijing has issued over 1,500 high-level autonomous-vehicle test permits and logged safety test mileage exceeding 65 mln km. Under Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei collaboration, the city is developing an intelligent connected NEV technology hub that has drawn 200+ supply-chain firms and 53 signed projects. Next steps will prioritize higher-level autonomous-vehicle industrialization, dual-intelligence 4.0 development, core technology R&D, and Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei industry coordination to build a global-scale cluster.
