OpenAI is expanding its European headquarters in Dublin, planning to add about 250 jobs and lease 88,000 sq ft of office space to meet rapidly growing demand from users, customers and developers across Europe. The firm currently employs roughly 100 people in Ireland. Ireland already hosts European HQs for major tech firms including Meta, Apple and Alphabet; Anthropic is also increasing headcount in Dublin.
