South Korea's Financial Services Commission chair Lee Eog-weon said regulators will consider further steps to curb demand for recently launched single-stock leveraged ETFs. He will assess the impact of a new rule raising the minimum cash margin for investing in these ETFs to KRW30 million (about $20,400), effective this Friday; the government moved the implementation forward by several weeks to stabilize markets and protect investors.
