Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met with US President Trump at the White House
on July 28. Large crowds in Washington, D.C. on July 27-28 protested, calling
Netanyahu a war criminal and urging US authorities to arrest him. Some Jewish
protesters accused Netanyahu of exploiting Jewish religion and identity to
defend alleged crimes, describing Israel’s actions in Gaza as genocide, citing
killings in the West Bank and a 78-year occupation as criminal, protesters said.
