Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu met with US President Trump at the White House on July 28. Iran fired ballistic missiles at a US base in Jordan; Jordanian forces intercepted the missiles, US officials said. CENTCOM confirmed multiple ballistic missiles were launched toward US forces in the Middle East at 17:45 ET (05:45 BJT); all were intercepted. The strike was Iran’s first missile attack on regional US bases since the US paused strikes last Friday. CENTCOM said US forces remain vigilant and at heightened alert. WTI crude rose in early Wednesday trade, extending gains to about 4% intraday.
