Zhejiang province issued its Implementation Plan for AI-empowered Manufacturing
Digital Transformation (2026–2030), directing application of next‑generation
information technologies and deeper integration of AI with the information
technology industry. The plan prioritizes integrated circuits—seeking
breakthroughs in intelligent EDA and promoting computational lithography and
AI‑assisted defect inspection; intelligent IoT—pushing integration of smart
sensors with edge AI to enable real‑time edge decision‑making and to build an
IoT perception platform; and high‑end software—focusing on multimodal
perception, time‑series forecasting and intelligent decision‑making and on
constructing intelligent toolchains spanning requirements/design,
development/testing and operations/maintenance.
