President Trump plans to unveil a $22 billion rebuild of Washington Dulles
Airport, according to people familiar with the matter. The plan will be
announced at the White House alongside United Airlines (UAL.O) CEO Scott Kirby
and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. The proposal includes construction of
four new terminals and represents a federal commitment to a comprehensive
overhaul of the capital region’s main international gateway. Duffy had confirmed
in May that the federal government plans to spend $22 billion on a Dulles
renovation. The White House and United Airlines did not immediately comment.
