At the open, China's most-active futures contracts were mostly higher. Shanghai
crude oil (SC) led gains, up more than 5%; ethylene glycol (EG) rose over 4%;
low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil gained over 3%; PET chip and styrene (EB)
climbed over 2%; short fiber and benzene advanced nearly 2%. On the downside,
soda ash fell more than 2%; glass, rapeseed meal and rebar dropped over 1%;
cotton, caustic soda and soybean meal were down about 1%.
