FTSE China A50 index futures opened down 0.39%.

The German cabinet on the 29th submitted a draft law to allow immigration officers to use artificial intelligence to assist processing of asylum, visa and residence-permit applications to improve efficiency. Under the draft, the German Foreign Ministry, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and local immigration authorities may use immigration-application data to train, validate and test AI models. The government said AI would be advisory only; legal assessments and final decisions would remain with immigration officers.
