Toyota Motor (TM.N) said weak demand and a model change for its best-selling RAV4 led to the first decline in global production and sales in two years in 1H. Global sales from Jan to Jun fell 2.9% YoY to just over 5.0 mln units; production fell 1.2% YoY to just under 4.9 mln units. In June, global sales edged up 0.1% to 868,454 units and production rose 2.9% to 879,321 units.
