An Israeli senior official told the Jerusalem Post that Iran continues to operate centrifuges and conduct uranium enrichment at "Haoshan." The official said Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear scientists, enrichment facilities, centrifuges and related infrastructure inflicted major but not permanent setbacks on Iran's nuclear program. He warned Israel would not hesitate to act again if Iran attempts to rebuild its nuclear or ballistic-missile capabilities.

Traders said rising oil prices may prompt the Reserve Bank of India to sell dollars to curb rupee depreciation. The Indian rupee fell 0.1% to 95.73 per US dollar, after trading as strong as 95.5775 earlier.
