UEFA said it rejects FIFA president Gianni Infantino’s plan to form a $20bn subsidiary to run the World Cup and other tournaments and sell minority stakes to private investors. CONCACAF and its 41 member associations also rejected the proposal to sell World Cup equity but did not announce a boycott.
