July 31, 2026 — Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin met with foreign delegations and witnessed signatures on an agreement to establish the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization. Signatories at the July 31 ceremony included Brunei’s transport and infocomms minister, Togo’s digital transformation minister, and the ambassadors of Iran, Sudan and Vietnam. Georgia’s and Tanzania’s ambassadors signed the agreement on July 31; Dominica’s ambassador signed on July 30.
