Multiple Israeli officials said Israel was excluded from the U.S. decision for hours and was unaware the U.S. had canceled planned strikes on Iran. A senior Israeli official said, "For several hours we were in a complete information vacuum and uncertainty; President Trump left us in the fog. Senior officers only learned of the latest developments from the president's personal social-media post."

On Aug 2, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan signed a decree reappointing Nikol Pashinyan as prime minister after accepting the collective resignation of Pashinyan’s government. Pashinyan had said on July 30 the cabinet would resign on Aug 2 following the formation of a new parliament. Under the Armenian constitution the president appoints the prime minister nominated by the parliamentary majority.
