Total companies currently under review across Chinese exchanges: 435 — Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) 95 (Main Board 23; Sci‑Tech Innovation Board/STAR Market 72), Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) 109 (Main Board 22; ChiNext 87), Beijing Stock Exchange (BSE) 231. As of Aug 2, 48 companies have had review processes terminated in 2026 (withdrawn or rejected/registration terminated): SSE 13 (Main 4; STAR 9), SZSE 6 (Main 2; ChiNext 4), BSE 29.

USD/JPY slid 170 pips within 15 minutes, falling below 156 for the first time since May 6 and down more than 1% on the day. Earlier, U.S. and Japanese officials said they would not hesitate to coordinate further FX market intervention.
