Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, said the US had
accepted Iran’s arrangements for the Strait of Hormuz under a memorandum of
understanding reached in Islamabad but later violated it. He accused the US of
launching attacks without first submitting disputes to the designated
dispute-resolution committee and said that in the 17 days of fighting after the
MoU was breached Iran inflicted heavy blows on US forces.
