Gaza 'Peace Committee' said Israeli forces will fully withdraw to positions beyond Gaza's eastern 'yellow line' once Hamas completes the disarmament process. The statement, reiterated after a meeting between committee director Nikolay Mladenov and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, said the committee's objective is complete removal of weapons in Gaza and a transition from armed control to civilian governance. Implementation of civilian governance would be supervised by an international stabilization force and a verification committee, of which the US and the Peace Committee are members.
