At morning close, China's domestic futures main contracts were mixed: ferrosilicon up more than 4%; container-shipping Europe-route rates rose over 3%; 20# rubber, stainless steel (SS) and PTA gained over 2%; rubber and coking coal rose about 2%; rapeseed oil was up just over 1%. Lagging contracts included red dates (jujube) and SC crude oil, both down more than 1%; fuel oil and corn slipped nearly 1%.

ARAMCO CEO said he still hopes the US and Iran can reach a resolution to restore normal shipping and stabilize markets, but normalization will take time.
