The Argentine Grain Exporters and Processors Association (CIARA-CEC) said on
Tuesday a maritime workers strike has left vessels unable to enter or exit
Argentina's grain ports, halting operations at the country's main agricultural
export hubs. Argentina is among the world's largest exporters of soybean meal,
soybean oil and corn, with most cargo moved via ports along the Parana River;
the strike's duration and the number of affected vessels are unclear.
