S&P Dow Jones Indices launched a new index series including the S&P U.S. Investment-Grade CLO (collateralized loan obligation) Index, providing a benchmark framework for market participants in one of the fastest-growing segments of the credit market.

A distinguished foreign-policy fellow at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy said the market-relevant negotiations are Iran-Oman consultations over the Strait of Hormuz, not US‑Iran peace talks. He said Iran has concluded direct talks with the US are not worth pursuing because it cannot trust US commitments, noting Trump has threatened to destroy Iran five or six times but backed down at the 11th hour, and that it is therefore hard to believe any US‑Iran agreement on nuclear or Strait of Hormuz issues is forthcoming.

BOE Technology said that as of July 31, 2026 it had repurchased 85,892,600 A shares (≈0.2363% of A shares; 0.2319 pct of total share capital) via a dedicated repurchase account through centralized bidding, at prices of 5.63–5.94 yuan, paying 499,924,820.18 yuan (excluding fees). It also repurchased 85,042,543 B shares (≈12.2737% of B shares; 0.2296 pct of total share capital) at HKD4.23–4.81, paying 393,420,109.27 HKD (excluding fees).
