On the 5th, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said Russia carried out large-scale airstrikes on Kyiv city and Kyiv region, killing 17 and injuring 44. He said Russian forces used multiple missiles and about 115 drones. Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said overnight from the 4th into the early hours of the 5th it used land-based precision weapons and attack drones to strike transport and logistics centers in Kyiv city and region.
