Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is undertaking a two-day visit to Saudi
Arabia to consolidate bilateral ties and discuss regional and international
issues. He is scheduled to meet Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Pakistani
delegation includes the deputy prime minister and foreign minister, the army
chief of staff, the chief of defence and other ministers. On the US-Iran
conflict, a Pakistani foreign ministry spokesperson said Islamabad is consulting
with other countries on the Middle East crisis and the security situation in the
Strait of Hormuz and will continue efforts to seek a comprehensive, sustainable
resolution.
