He said the U.S. aim is to manage the complexities and secure the best outcome for the American people and the president. Vance added that, although the process will be messy and take time, "oil prices will fall and remain low," "Iran will never obtain nuclear weapons," and "the U.S. will be in a stronger position." He said the parties are currently engaged in a strategic contest.
