Brazilian grain exporters association expects August soybean exports of 9.74 mln tonnes, up from 8.11 mln tonnes a year earlier. It forecasts August soybean-meal exports of 2.48 mln tonnes, versus 2.02 mln tonnes a year earlier.

China A-shares closed higher: Shanghai Composite +1.02%, Shenzhen Composite +1.42%, ChiNext +1.35%. CRO sector saw a wave of limit-ups, including Yiqiao Shenzhou; CPO stocks strengthened with Woge Optoelectronics posting a fourth consecutive limit-up. PCB names extended gains, with Jingwang Electronics and others hitting limit-up; minor-metals names active and China Rare Earths reached limit-up. Components, electronic chemicals, precious metals and semiconductors were among top gainers; digital currency, gaming, coal and bank sectors lagged. Over 2,800 stocks rose; total turnover exceeded 2.6 trillion yuan.
