SAMR said its special action to implement the Fair Competition Review System has
produced phased results: in 1H national market regulators reviewed more than
30,000 policy measures and guided revisions to over 6,600. Launched in April to
push forward a unified national market, SAMR is accelerating revisions to the
Implementing Measures for the Fair Competition Review Regulation and aims to
issue them soon. It will soon conduct 2026 spot checks of fair competition
reviews to correct a batch of institutional barriers in market access, factor
access, qualification recognition and bidding/tendering.
