The Office of the National Disaster Reduction Committee, the Ministry of
Emergency Management and the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration
have allocated an additional 32,000 central disaster-relief items to Shaanxi —
including tents, site lighting, folding cots, folding tables and chairs,
raincoats and boots, and family emergency kits — on top of 65,000 items
previously dispatched, to support local emergency relocation, sheltering and
rescue operations.
