Fitch Ratings says Asia-Pacific oil and gas producers have limited risk exposure to the Strait of Hormuz.

After an investigation, the CSRC Zhejiang Regulatory Bureau found Caitong Securities Co., Ltd. had deficiencies in its brokerage business — including internal control frameworks, account monitoring and alert handling, and permissions management. Its proprietary trading showed shortcomings in departmental and role separation, trade-order review, quote activity monitoring, placement of compliance personnel, and audit functions. The bureau has issued an administrative supervisory warning letter and will record the matter in the securities and futures market integrity file.
