U.S. Vice President Vance said the U.S. is working to establish a secure transit corridor to allow vessels safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

Pentagon Deputy Director for the Defense Innovation Unit Jared Conley said the U.S. military has sufficient ammunition to meet operational needs in a conflict with Iran, saying “we have enough ammunition to complete current missions” and that “the Defense Department has all necessary resources to wage war.” He addressed earlier reports that key air-defence munitions, including ballistic missile interceptors, had been drawn down.
