U.S. Vice President JD Vance told Fox News Iran has informed Washington it currently has no plan to impose transit fees on the Strait of Hormuz. He said some within the Iranian establishment discuss levies, but Tehran has denied any plan. Vance added Washington expects Gulf oil and gas exports to return to pre-war levels, that Gulf states share that objective, and that the U.S. will judge actions rather than words.

New Zealand announced additional sanctions on individuals and entities supporting Russia after the US Senate passed a bill aimed at curbing Russian oil and gas revenue. Foreign Minister Winston Peters said on Saturday this is New Zealand’s 36th round of sanctions, targeting 33 individuals and entities.
