Channel 12 cited military sources saying the Israeli military is assessing withdrawing from certain positions in the Gaza Strip and handing them to an international stabilization force. Discussions have recently considered pulling back from parts inside the Yellow Line, but internal divisions remain over how to disarm Hamas, with debate focused on whether withdrawal should come before disarmament.

Pentagon Deputy Director for the Defense Innovation Unit Jared Conley said the U.S. military has sufficient ammunition to meet operational needs in a conflict with Iran, saying “we have enough ammunition to complete current missions” and that “the Defense Department has all necessary resources to wage war.” He addressed earlier reports that key air-defence munitions, including ballistic missile interceptors, had been drawn down.
