Korea Exchange triggered the sidecar mechanism for the KOSDAQ index.

Iran foreign minister Araghchi said on the 9th that Iran and Oman are in final-stage consultations to adjust shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz. He stressed that even if they agree on route adjustments, that would not amount to the Strait being reopened; reopening would require meeting a series of conditions. Araghchi said the plan under discussion would replace the current lane with a new channel and that technical work is underway by experts.

A-share CPO-related stocks weakened intraday: Guangxun Technology approached its limit-down, Zhongji Xuchuang fell over 7%, and Dongshan Precision, Xinyisheng, Changxin Bochuan and Lianxun Instruments each dropped more than 5%.
