A-shares MLCC sector oscillated higher and rebounded in the afternoon; Yunzong Technology and Longxin Intelligent rose more than 10%, Fenghua Hi‑Tech approached the daily trading limit, while Guoci Materials, Boqian New Materials and Jiemei Technology also gained.

Saudi outlet Alhadath quoted Yemen's National Resistance Forces saying the Houthi movement is an Iranian proxy whose decision-making is controlled by Iran. The group said the Houthis seek to serve Iran by creating chaos and escalating tensions to relieve external pressure, called the Houthis a "war instrument" rather than a tool for peace and said peace with them is impossible, and warned their adventurism will not be tolerated.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman, responding to the Mecca defense pact, said regional states over the past three years have realized security is not a commodity to be bought from fraudulent middlemen. He said any plan grounded in reality and correctly identifying enemies and threats would help maintain regional security and prevent Israel from creating turmoil.
