US 2-year/10-year Treasury yield curve steepened to its steepest since late May, with the 10s-2s spread at 45.7bps.

China crude-complex futures main contracts rose: SC crude +2.12% to 543.4 yuan/barrel; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) +2.05% to 4,671 yuan/ton; fuel oil +2.25% to 3,587 yuan/ton; asphalt +0.98% to 4,215 yuan/ton.

An Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson said: "Talks with Oman are progressing smoothly, but some parties are attempting to obstruct the process. The situation in the Strait of Hormuz depends on US actions and on whether the US reverses its violations. A maritime blockade against Iran is an act of aggression. The Strait of Hormuz remained open from antiquity until the war that began this year."
