Sources say Zhipu's MaaS open platform has nearly 7 mln registered API users, up
about 2 mln since early July, including roughly 23k enterprise clients.
Developer product ZCode, positioned against CODEX, surpassed 1 mln users within
a month. Zhipu's ARR has risen about 15-fold YTD; sources add ARR growth was
unaffected by launches of Kimi and Alibaba's new models. One investor told
reporters ARR has reached $2 bln, a claim Zhipu denies; people close to the
company say the true figure is likely higher. Market reports from July 21
indicate Zhipu has built roughly 1 GW of domestic AI compute infrastructure,
with more than 50k domestically produced compute chips activated to handle
rising inference demand. On July 31 Zhipu reopened purchases of its long-locked
Coding Plan after a substantial price increase.
