Bernstein analysts say the rise of AI agents earlier this year should accelerate CPU demand and could make CPUs a new growth engine for TSMC. They forecast TSMC’s CPU-related revenue could reach the upper end of $30.0 bln in 2027, roughly the midpoint of a 10–20% share of total revenue, and judge CPUs may be as important for chip revenue by 2027 as AI accelerators (GPUs and ASICs). Bernstein raised its target on TSMC to NT$3,300 from NT$2,780 and said the stock remains cheap versus peers.
