China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved two
innovative medicines. The NMPA granted conditional approval under priority
review to a Category‑1 innovative drug developed by Yaojie Ankang (Nanjing)
Technology Co., Ltd., marketed as Jientai, for adults with advanced, metastatic
or unresectable cholangiocarcinoma harboring FGFR2 fusions or rearrangements who
have previously received systemic therapy and FGFR inhibitor treatment.
Separately, the NMPA approved Jichuan Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.’s pediatric
laxative granules as a TCM 1.1‑class innovative drug; this is the first
post‑Regulation TCM innovative product approved with a syndrome‑based pediatric
constipation indication (food‑accumulation pattern).
