Southbound flows to Hong Kong were net sellers CNY 1.376 bln today. Via Shanghai Stock Connect, Alibaba Group (HK) and GigaDevice Semiconductor recorded net selling of HK$116m and HK$75m respectively; Tencent Holdings was the largest net buyer at HK$427m. Via Shenzhen Stock Connect, Tencent Holdings and Kingboard Laminates were net sold HK$489m and HK$445m respectively; CITIC Securities was the top net buyer at HK$556m.

China A-share innovative drug sector spiked intraday; Baihua Pharmaceutical hit the daily limit, marking a seventh consecutive limit-up. Wanbang Pharmaceutical, Hongbo Pharmaceutical, Longshen Rongfa, Yuheng Pharmaceutical, Harbin Pharmaceutical and Boji Pharmaceutical also advanced.
