The central bank will guide financial institutions to provide loans to eligible listed companies and major shareholders and encourage use of buybacks and shareholder purchases for market-value management. As of end-June, financial institutions had signed re-lending contracts exceeding CNY390bn and disbursed over CNY210bn.
