OPEC monthly report maintains 2026 non-OPEC oil supply increase forecast at 640,000 barrels per day.

The National Financial Regulatory Administration said after Typhoon White Dolphin made landfall it instructed insurers to open green channels, provide proactive on-site service, expedite valid payouts and make reasonable prepayments, and to coordinate with local governments on warnings, rescue and claims handling. As of 15:00 on Aug. 12, insurers in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Anhui and Henan reported nearly 130,000 claims, with estimated losses of 1.75 bln yuan and paid (including prepayments) 80 mln yuan.
