Timiraos cited US CPI data showing core goods prices rose 0.20% MoM in July, ending a two-month decline and marking the largest monthly gain since Sep 2025. Housing costs rose 0.14% MoM in July. Core services ex-housing rose 0.19% MoM, though that index remains below May’s level after a larger drop in June.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said the China-India border situation is generally stable.
