Turkish central bank says its 2026 oil-price forecast is $87.8, down from $89.4.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) said the Australian dollar slipped below 0.7050 in the Asian session after RBA assistant governor Kent delivered dovish remarks. Kent said financial conditions remain somewhat tight and that earlier three rate hikes are working as expected, adding that a weakening housing market often means policy need not further slow demand. CBA FX strategist Samara Hammoud expects falling house prices will weigh on household spending and forecasts the RBA will hold rates for now and cut twice in 2027.

Argentina's YPF said it will begin exporting 180,000 bpd of oil starting in January.
