At the 5th Dishui Lake China RISC‑V Industry Forum in Lingang New Area on Aug. 13, organizers showcased more than 40 domestic RISC‑V products and reported an overall mass‑production rate above 90%. The chips are in deployment across consumer electronics, smart home, wearables, communications, automotive and industrial control, indicating Chinese RISC‑V silicon is moving from technical innovation to scaled commercial application.

The Hong Kong government on the 13th conducted the first large-scale drill at the Hong Kong side of Huanggang port, testing pedestrian and vehicle flow management at the joint inspection building and the public transport interchange ahead of the crossing’s opening. Hong Kong said an early opening with Shenzhen is a shared goal and pledged close cooperation to accelerate preparations. Once both sides confirm safe, smooth operations, the Guangdong and Hong Kong governments will set and publicly announce an official opening date.
