Chinese-listed semiconductor components firm Zhenbao Technology plans to invest 520 mln yuan to build an R&D and production base in Guanggu with a three-year construction period. The site will focus on silicon carbide components, high-purity silicon precision parts and aluminum nitride ceramic materials and supporting parts — consumables for front-end wafer processes such as etch and thin-film deposition. On commissioning, the base is expected to rapidly expand the company’s capacity and provide nearby supply to wafer fabs in Central China, shortening delivery times.
