On the 13th, marking the 77th anniversary of the Fourth Geneva Convention,
Iran's foreign ministry issued a statement condemning the U.S. and Israel for
violations of international humanitarian law and urging the international
community to ensure compliance with the Geneva Conventions. The statement
accused Israel of committing violations in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria in
recent years and said U.S. support for Israel has further exacerbated those
violations.
