UAE Foreign Ministry condemned an Iranian attack on Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) vessels while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad met Tajikistan Transport Minister Azim Ibrohim and Energy and Water Resources Minister Daler Juma on Saturday; talks focused on cooperation in the energy sector.

Mocha port has suspended commercial and maritime operations after being hit by more than 25 missiles fired by Houthi forces, the port authority said on Saturday. The attack killed seven people and caused an estimated $16m in damage. Mocha, a Red Sea port near the Bab al-Mandeb Strait linking the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, lies on a key international shipping route. The port is held by forces aligned with Yemen's internationally recognized government and has a smaller cargo capacity than Aden and Hodeidah ports.
