NIO said as of today it has built 9,210 charging and battery-swap stations nationwide: 4,020 battery-swap stations, 5,190 charging stations and 29,915 charging piles, and has completed over 120 mln battery swaps.

South Korea’s industry ministry said on Saturday it had dismissed its chief trade representative, without giving a reason. Yeo Han-koo, who had also served as trade minister, traveled to Washington several times this year to discuss tariffs, semiconductor-related measures and digital policy with US officials and lawmakers. The ministry said personnel decisions for political appointees are a presidential prerogative and that it will work to ensure current trade affairs are not affected. No successor has been named.

President Lee said on the 15th the government will investigate and recover assets improperly amassed by pro-Japanese, anti-national actors and pursue their historical accountability. Following the June 2 enactment of the Special Act on State Ownership of Property of Pro-Japanese Anti-National Actors, the government will more tightly manage seized pro-Japanese assets and ensure proceeds are fully used to honor and support independence contributors and their heirs.
