Chesterfield County police on Aug. 15 arrested 19-year-old Cameron Harris of
Henrico in connection with a shooting at Virginia State University that injured
five people. There were no fatalities; one victim is in critical condition.
Authorities say Harris is not a student and has eight felony arrest warrants,
including malicious wounding and using a firearm during the commission of a
felony. Only one of the five wounded is a university student; the others are
aged 17 to 23.
