Saudi outlet Alhadath reported Egyptian President received Trump envoy Jared Kushner in Al Alamein, where they discussed the need for parties to fulfil obligations under the Gaza agreement. Al Arabiya, citing sources, said Kushner will meet Hamas today to push the Gaza administrative committee to assume responsibilities; the committee’s Gaza senior representative Maladinov and delegations from Turkey, Egypt and Qatar will attend. Kushner and the Hamas delegation will discuss an international stabilization force, Israeli withdrawal and humanitarian aid; the stated goal is to implement the Trump plan, not to renegotiate it, with emphasis on ending the cycle of violence in Gaza.

Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Qatar, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan issued a joint statement urging support for the peace committee’s efforts to implement the roadmap and advance to a second phase.
