The Israeli military is monitoring Hamas's reconstruction capabilities. Sources say US restrictions are preventing the Israeli military from being able to "take further action" against Hamas.

Officials say recent episodes in which President Trump repeatedly threatened large-scale strikes on Iran and then withdrew those threats citing progress in talks have heightened Gulf concern that he lacks the diplomatic capacity to secure a peace agreement with Iran.
