A-shares opened higher and extended gains into midday; Shanghai Composite
+0.84%, Shenzhen Composite Index +1.26%, ChiNext +1.33%, STAR 50 Index +3.04% at
the break. Turnover across Shanghai and Shenzhen hit 1.5 trillion yuan at
midday, up 109.7 billion yuan from the prior session; over 3,800 stocks
advanced. Grain-related names led gains, with Jinjian Rice, Nongfa Seed and
Jingliang Holdings at daily limits and Qiule Seed and Shennong Seed up >14%.
Storage-chip plays rallied; Yingfang Micro, Youyan New Materials, Woge
Optoelectronics and Bomin Electronics hit limit-up, while Zhongwei
Semiconductor, Debang Technology and Gelun Electronics rose >10%. Lab-grown
diamond stocks remained active, Yazhen Home and Huanghe Xuanfeng at limits.
Fiber-optic, CPO, consumer staples and innovative-drug themes also outperformed.
Cinema stocks underperformed: Beijing Culture hit the down limit, with Annie,
Ruyi Films and Xunyou Technology sliding. Baijiu names were weak—Yingjia Gongjiu
and Gujing Gongjiu fell >5%, Kweichow Moutai down >4%. Compute-leasing and
cloud-gaming sectors were among the biggest decliners.
