China implemented zero tariffs on imports from 53 African diplomatic partners from May 1. As of 100 days after rollout, Fujian province reported 344 mln yuan of imports benefiting from zero tariffs; 82 firms imported from 23 African countries and received 35.69 mln yuan in tariff relief. Agricultural and mineral goods accounted for 92% of the tariff benefits, reflecting strong Fujian demand for African resource products.

National Bureau of Statistics: Jan–Jul new commercial housing sales area 450.21 mln sq m, down 11.8% YoY; residential sales area down 12.7% YoY. New commercial housing sales value 4.27 trillion yuan, down 13.1%; residential sales value down 13.2%. At end‑July, commercial housing for sale 759.11 mln sq m, down 0.8% YoY; stock under three years 555.59 mln sq m, down 3.6%.
